This policy covers thebragroute.com, operated by The Brag Route, a travel company planning trips in Kashmir. It explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, WhatsApp number, travel dates, number of travellers, trip type, approximate budget and any message you write.
When you use the winter enquiry form: the details above, plus ability level, height, weight, shoe size and similar sizing details for each participant, so equipment can be arranged.
When you book: identity documents needed for hotels and permits, any medical disclosures you choose to give us, and payment information.
How we use it
Solely to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, process the booking, arrange permits, accommodation, transport and equipment, and keep travellers safe on the trip. We do not use it for anything unrelated to your travel.
Who we share it with
We do not sell traveller data to third parties.
Information is shared with hotels, transport providers, instructors, equipment suppliers or government authorities strictly where necessary to deliver the booked services or comply with legal requirements.
Enquiry forms on this website are delivered to our inbox by a form-processing service. That service passes the submission to us by email and does not use it for its own purposes.
Medical information
Please do not send medical details through the public enquiry forms. Tell us you have something to disclose and we will share a private channel for it.
Payments
Payment is processed by a payment provider or by bank transfer. Card details are not stored on this website.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to operate the trip, meet accounting and tax obligations and handle any later dispute. After that they are deleted.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.
Cookies and similar storage
The website remembers a small number of settings in your browser so it works properly, such as that you dismissed the announcement bar. These are essential and set without consent.
